Nico Beyer

Nico Beyer’s work is characterized by its unique visual style and wide array of different techniques, styles and formats.

His Chevrolet Super Bowl Campaign "Chevy Runs Deep" and 2020 Mercedes AMG Campaign ably demonstrate Nico's high-end expertise, experience and range.

After graduating design school in Düsseldorf, Nico moved to Paris to direct music videos.

In 1993, Nico moved to New York and directed music videos for Suzanne Vega, The Verve, Erasure, The Cocteau Twins and the Pet Shop Boys - resulting in international recognition.

One of his first commercial projects (a social spot against violence on television) won him a Gold Lion at the Cannes Film Festival.

From there he continued to direct international campaigns for Mercedes Benz, Nike, Swatch, Coca Cola, Adidas, Puma, BMW, General Motors, Nissan, Lexus, Hornbach, Vodafone and has won multiple Clio, Cresta, Cannes, ADC, EPICA, LIA, D&A, MTV awards.

Social projects remain an important part of Nico’s work. Nico’s recent Campaign for CARITAS tackles hidden poverty within society and recently won the GRAND PRIX at the RED DOT AWARDS.

He is currently working on a DOCUMENTARY about SUBCULTURES from the 80s, shooting in Germany Japan and England.
