Georg was born in the north of Germany. That means he grew up with the driest humour of Germany. Already as a child, he started to invent sketches and parodies about people he knew and didn't like. He imitated them for a laugh or a broad grin. It was then that he discovered how much fun it was to make up little stories and scenes, while he was sneaking through the woods, wearing a trapper's hat and dreaming of wildlife as a tracker. And both trails led him to the feature film as a young runner. After a year at Constantin Film LA and many projects as AD for various spots and clips, he graduated from the Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg with his film "Fiat - the Giant Thirst" and was awarded several national and international prizes. In 2011, his film "NoHair" won the prestigious and highly regarded YDA, LIA and Möbius Award. Recently, Georg shot a thirty-screen project across all five continents for the tour operator DER Touristik. He lives in Berlin with his wife and two children.
